General use

This website is operated by Maroondah Community Enterprises Limited (ABN 91 103 341 993). By using this site you agree to access it for lawful purposes and in accordance with the terms set out below. Content on this site is provided for general information only and is not financial advice.

MCEL is a separate brand and legal entity to Bendigo and Adelaide Bank Limited, though we operate two Community Bank branches as a franchise of Bendigo Bank. Banking products and services on offer at our branches are governed by Bendigo Bank’s own terms.

Facility hire terms

The facilities MCEL maintains (including the Community BBQ and Community Hall) are made available primarily to verified community organisations operating within or directly serving the City of Maroondah.

All bookings must be confirmed by an MCEL team member before they are considered approved.
Facilities may not be used for commercial activities, party hire, or events involving alcohol service without prior written agreement.
The named booker is responsible for ensuring the space is left clean and undamaged.

Changes & cancellations

Bookings can be changed or cancelled by replying to your confirmation email. We ask for at least 48 hours’ notice where possible, so the space can be released to other community groups. Refundable bonds are returned within 5 business days of a clean handover.

Conduct & safety

All MCEL facilities are alcohol-aware and inclusive spaces. Activities must comply with Victorian health, safety and noise regulations. Smoking is not permitted inside any MCEL facility.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, MCEL is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of this website or our facilities. Hirers are responsible for ensuring appropriate insurance is in place for the activity they intend to run.
